boredom

Well here I sit....
Stefanie back @ JMU,
Jeff & JJ back in DE,
Jenny working a double.....

just me & the pups....*silence*

Watching tv, playing games on the computer... basically doing nothing....should be great huh?

It's not.

I can't help it- I'm bored... and unfortunately cannot seem to motivate myself to do anything....

I know I should clean up around here....do some laundry...exercise....

I can't.

All I seem to be able to do is to sit here...
like a slug....
feeling sorry for myself....

*sigh*   I need to snap out of it....

  1. Hey! So happy to see you - I was wondering where you got off to! LOL

Sorry you are lonely and bored. :( I wish I was there to chat and have a cuppa' [something -um, let's make it WINE! heehee]

Squirrel leaves for JMU next weekend - and our home will be a wee bit emptier - to go from 5 down to 1 is wigging me out a bit. So we'll just have to keep eachtother company, eh?

Are y'all going to parent's weekend at JMU? I know it is going to be a zoo [looks like it anyway] but we already made our reservations and bought the football tickets - if y'all are there maybe we can meet up. I would love to see you.

    Hugs! Miss you!

  3. This is so exciting. We can exchange particulars closer to the date. We will be there from Thursday night until Sunday morning, Wallene in tow to visit with Squirrel.

We are also going down for Band parents weekend - are the cheersquad involved with that too? I think it is the W&M game - I could be wrong - so many details. GAH.

I can't wait! It will be so great to see you guys.

  4. You are making me jealous. Both my kids are here, not the least bit tired and we even have an extra staying for an indefinite period of time.

  6. As the Mom of "Life in the Mom Lane" I can assure you it gets easier...much later in life though. I still remember when LITML went off to college. I cried !! Of course I cried...I did when "big red (as her father and I lovingly called her) went to kindergarden. The passing of all the activity that involves your kids is hard to take. You will survive...LOL, Mom
