Frenchie from "Grease"?
ReplyDeleteNice list. I had an especially good chuckle at Mr. French - and it's what made me think Frenchie.
Have a great weekend!
"Grease" popped into my head many times when I was trying to figure out what to write for the "French" prompt.
DeleteFrench perfume.
ReplyDeleteFrench Riviera.
French fashion.
French Stewart (that squinty-eyed guy from space on "Third Rock from the Sun")
French from France. Not me. I'm not even French from Canada. Bu that's a pretty exhaustive list. Tres bien.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great list. I, like Skippy, loved the Mr. French - hadn't thought of that show in years!
ReplyDeleteQuite the list there! Lots of French things! :D
ReplyDeleteYou might be quite surprised to learn how much time I spent yesterday Googling French Foreign Legion, and to no avail.
ReplyDeleteYou have compiled quite a list. Here's a few more.
ReplyDeleteFrench Quarter
French Creole
Louisiana French
Cajun French
Ooooh Cajun... now I'm hungry!
DeleteAnd let me add the 1971 Gene Hackman classic The French Connection
ReplyDeleteFrench kissing!
ReplyDeleteNo wait, you already said that one. Still, it's worth a second mention.
Hey Barb! And of course, Dutch Schultz's cryptic exclamation: "French Canadian Bean Soup!" Indigo
ReplyDeleteGreat list! The only thing I would add is French pastries. I always add French pastries. :-)
ReplyDeleteHa ha "Pardon My French".... I remember when EVERYONE said that. Did it mean that French people curse all the time?
ReplyDeleteI wonder if we should add an asterisk and a footnote to the list, because French fries actually originated in Belgium.
